Core Mechanics
M1 (Basic Attacks)
Basic mouse-1 attacks that form the foundation of all combos.
- Every character has different M1 speed
- Chain up to 4-5 M1s before abilities
- M1 speed determines who wins trades
- Saitama has the 2nd fastest M1s
Abilities
Each character has 4-5 unique abilities with cooldowns.
- Chain abilities after M1s for combos
- Each ability has a cooldown timer
- Some abilities have armor (super-armor)
- Ultimate abilities deal the most damage
Blocking
Hold block to reduce incoming damage and resist stagger.
- Reduces damage from attacks
- Prevents stagger/knockback
- Can be broken by guard-break moves
- Timing is key - don't hold forever
Counters
Punish opponents when they attack into your counter move.
- Some characters have counter abilities
- Garou excels at counter-based play
- Counters require good timing and reads
- Bait opponents to attack first
Awakenings
Ultimate transformations that boost power temporarily.
- Most awakenings have a duration timer
- Saitama's awakening has NO TIMER
- Unlocks new moves during awakening
- Save for clutch or finishing moments
Cooldowns
Every ability has a cooldown after use.
- Track your cooldowns mentally
- Don't spam - wait for abilities
- Punish opponents during their cooldowns
- Awakening usually has longest cooldown
⚔️ Combat Flow
This is the basic combat loop. Approach → M1 chain → Ability → Either extend with more M1s or finish with ultimate.

M1 Trading
